The [Global Collaboration] Epic story is about identifying and engaging the entire Agile & Scrum community, globally, such that the larger goal of [pmi-agile] is advanced.
To reiterate, the purpose of [pmi-agile] is:
"To add value to all PMI Practitioners, by equipping them with Agile knowledge, and Agile skills"
This Epic is about mobilizing the Scrum and Agile communities worldwide, especially where PMI chapters are located thoughout the world. This Epic is all about communicating, cooperating, collaborating and engaging the entire Scrum and Agile community, globally, such that [pmi-agile] goals and objectives are advanced.
A deconstruction of the [Global Collaboration] Epic story includes:
- Engage Agile user groups worldwide
- Engage 1-off, non-agile, business and software user groups worldwide
- Engage Agile community members worldwide
- Engage Agile thought leaders worldwide
- Engage Scrum/agile thought leaders worldwide as constituent stakeholders of [pmi-agile] project PO's
- Engage thought leaders worldwide as constituent stakeholders and advisors of [pmi-agile] project PO's and SMs
- Engage Agile conferences worldwide
- Engage non-Agile conferences worldwide, where engagement helps execute on [pmi-agile] goals and objectives
- Engage Agile tools and services vendors worldwide
- Engage Agile and Scrum book publishers worldwide
- Engage Agile and Scrum educators worldwide

- Good at communicating problems, impediments, obstacles.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and communicate up, down and across authority boundaries
- Willingness to embody, demonstrate and encourage [pmi-agile] cultural norms
