As of October 1st, 2009 any PMI member can login directly to the official website. With this upgrade, there is no longer any formal or training membership roster for the PMI Agile Community itself.

To be an official member of the PMI Agile community, choose from the following scenarios:

  1. Login to www.pmi.org
  2. If you are not already a PMI member,
    1. Go to http://www.pmi.org/GetInvolved/Pages/The-Benefits-and-Types-of-Membership.aspx
    2. Select the membership type that applies to you
    3. Click the "add to cart" button.
  3. Go to http://www.pmi.org/GetInvolved/Pages/PMI-Specific-Interest-Groups.aspx
  4. Click on the "Agile Community of Practice" link
  5. Click on the "Join" button
  6. Click the "Add to Cart" button
  7. You may see following message "You have attempted to add one or more new component memberships to your cart. You are currently in your PMI membership renewal period. New component memberships must be purchased in conjunction with your PMI membership renewal. To renew your membership, please add the Individual Membership Renew product to your cart". If you see this message,
    1. Locate the "Membership Status" box on the left hand side of the page.
    2. click on the "Renew Membership"
    3. Repeat steps 2-5
  8. Complete the transaction
  9. Go to http://agile.community.pmi.org. If you are able to enter the site, you are now an official member of the PMI Agile CoP. If you are not able to enter the site, Contact Danielle.Ritter [at] pmi.org for technical assistance.
